A work culture that values celebration is a work culture worth celebrating, and coders love celebrations as much as everyone else.
To make up for not having celebrated Diwali last year, Nine Stack decided to bring in Diwali this year with a bang! It wasn’t all just mithai and ethnic wear though, even if that was an essential part of the day’s events.
The fun-loving Nine-Stackers took their Diwali festivities to a whole new level with an elaborate competition designed to be both amusing as well as team-building.
Five teams got to work a little earlier than usual to deck their workstations up, in addition to themselves. The competition did come with a few criteria: creativity, use of eco-friendly material, and ethnically-dressed team members. And yes, there was one golden rule – to not set the building on fire!
The teams were to be fairly judged by two of our Nordic Intent delegates, and the winning team got won fascinating goodie bags filled with delicious Diwali delicacies, that these generous team-players ended up sharing with all their colleagues.
The Ninestack Diwali spirit and beautiful decorations created quite a buzz and drew in everyone present in the building, who were more than happy to partake in the festivities and nibble on Diwali sweets.
