Every month, Creometric holds what they call ‘CreoTive sessions,’ which are meant to help the team learn something new or enhance their existing knowledge on various topics related to digital marketing. This week’s session was a fun one – starting off with a small meeting, led by the company’s new Project Manager and ending with an extremely loud game of Pictionary.
During the course of the session, she talked about little tasks that the team could take on to manage time efficiently and finish projects without delay.
She advised everyone to ensure that they created checklists, proofread all of their work and not be in a hurry to finish a project. All this would help avoid having to do double the work later on and would also cut down on the overall time taken.
Of course, while the session was informative, the team was looking forward to the Pictionary game that was also on the agenda.
Creometric invited the Fat Hamster Animation Studio and ItsGoa to participate in the Pictionary game which made for a lot of fun. After teams were created, the rules were explained, and the game began. Playing a modified version of the game, the team used a challenge dice which had different levels of difficulty inscribed on it. These levels included options such as drawing with their eyes closed, with their non-dominant hand and without lifting the hand. At some point, they decided to challenge themselves even more and opted for phrase cards which are extremely difficult to draw.
One can well imagine the craziness that ensued amongst this talented group of people. There was laughter, shouting, teasing and even funny accusations of cheating during the course of the game. While there was a referee keeping things under control, everyone just let loose and had a great time, choosing some difficult words such as ‘Vietnam Memorial’ and ‘Insulation’ to draw. At the end of many boisterous rounds, the group that was made up of the Fat Hamsters and ItsGoa team won the game.
The Creometric bunch definitely enjoys its CreoTive sessions since they always gain knowledge that can help them in their day-to-day work. And of course, a game of Pictionary adds to the excitement as it brings everyone’s creativity, team spirit and energy to the surface.
