In today’s day and age, it is important for all businesses to make use of the internet to expand globally. Having a website or being present on social media is very crucial, as your online profile can do work for you when you and your team is sleeping. When it comes to building websites, our in-house professionals of web developers – Kodework know it all.
Behind every website, there are millions and trillions of lines of code, written to make it responsive and user-friendly. In our not-so-perfect world, an error is natural and sometimes the smallest one takes the most amount of time. Modern web development has many repetitive tasks like running a local server, minifying code, optimizing images, preprocessing CSS and more. Thus, any new software, that can help developers automate their tasks is a major boon.
Since the end of the week can often be stressful for employees, Kodework had one of its informative yet pleasant sessions to ease the day. The session was conducted by one of their very own team members, Ajaj Rajguru on a platform known as Gulp.
Gulp is a cross-platform, streaming task runner that lets developers automate many development tasks. At a high level, gulp reads files as streams and pipes the streams to different tasks. These tasks are code-based and use plugins. The tasks modify the files, building source files into production files.
Saturday or Monday, everyone loves a good knowledge sharing session, especially if it can help reduce stress and automate workflow. If you wish to read more on the sessions conducted by the companies under Nordic Intent, head over to our blog to check out the recent Share-It session conducted by the NineStack team.
