So here’s how Ninestack spends their working-weekends.
Ninestack has their own #shareit channel on Slack, where they share content related to anything and everything that could benefit the team – even if the benefit is a giant laugh! But yes, the content that they mostly connect on is about the latest technology trends or business related topics.
Recently, they came up with an idea to spice up their working-weekends and make it more fun and lively. The idea? To conduct interactive sessions. Every team member should talk on a particular topic – not necessarily tech-related – and share their experiences and knowledge on the same.
The first session was conducted by Sagar Dixit (FrontEnd Ninja). The session he conducted was based on the C# Corner conference he recently attended in Delhi. The conference was addressed by speakers from Microsoft, including the MVP’s of Microsoft and C# corner. Sagar was very keen on sharing the experience and learnings with his team.
He took the entire team through a brilliant session that included – the next big thing in IT that would change the world, things like AI, machine learning, the blockchain, progressive web apps, liveshare. He also explained about the latest trending technologies discussed at the conference like GraphQL, Polymer, MongoDB, Redux and said that we too can adopt these at our working spaces.
After the talk, they all had an interactive session, where they discussed how these technologies can help improvise work and make it efficient.
The session concluded with a small talk on, “Before you give up, think about why you started”.
The team left for the day feeling a lot energized to learn new things and implement them. We are sure this has definitely been a productive working-weekend.
