When the foundation is strong, the structure will hold steady. This holds true regardless of whether a house is being constructed or a website. Never one to underestimate timeless philosophies, Kodework recently held a session on website structuring. The session was conducted by a project manager at Kodework and it saw the entire team in attendance.
Several technical aspects of website structuring were highlighted in this session. This included some general guidelines such as establishing the website’s structure before you even begin designing it and maintaining some semblance of symmetry. A point that was stressed upon was the need to keep things simple by not creating an over crowded website structure.
The session was highly interactive with several queries being raised and addressed.
This is what the attendees had to say about the session:
“The session was highly insightful because we learnt how to avoid making common mistakes. There are certain dos and don’ts that need to be followed in the structuring of a website which were also elaborated upon.”
– Front End Developer, Kodework
“The session served as a great source for us to clarify doubts that we had regarding different functions. It is hard to find clarifications to certain doubts online and this was something that the session took care of.”
– Full Stack Developer, Kodework
They also had a session on code reviews, read the blog here.
