Ninestack recently had their eighth ShareIt session where the topic of discussion was a Mobile Application’s Development Life Cycle. The talk addressed every individual phase (which were further broken down into smaller modules) that goes into the end-to-end development of a mobile application.
The session was conducted jointly by a Xamarin Developer and an iOS Developer. They tweaked the current mobile application development process that was being followed and presented one that would help scale up on efficiency. This was the model that was put forth:
- Research and Planning
- Prototyping and Basic Designing
- Feasibility (to make sure all resources are available for development)
- Design Development
In addition to this, the instructors spoke about alternative means of sharing applications. They shared with the attendees a tool which would considerably streamline the process of application sharing.
The session ended with a round of Q&A with the attendees.
Here’s what they had to say about their experience:
“The session was well conducted and to the point. What was really helpful was the new tools that the instructors spoke about, which will smoothen the application development cycle. We learnt new techniques on how to automate certain processes instead of doing everything manually.”
– Android Developer, Ninestack
“The tools that we were made aware of through this session will definitely make our task simpler. By automating certain processes, work will become easier and faster. The instructors spoke and presented the topic well. “
-iOS Developer, Ninestack
ShareIt sessions at Ninestack first began as a channel on Slack that was created with the purpose of sharing just about anything – even if it was just a joke. Over time the topics began getting more serious and it was observed that each of the team members had so much knowledge to share. Thus came about the ShareIt sessions as we know them today, where one team member volunteers to conduct a workshop or give a talk on a subject of their choosing.
