It’s Christmas again and everyone at Nordic Intent is all set to ring in the spirit of the festive season with music, fun, games and a whole lot more. A Christmas schedule was put together for all the festivities at the company. It began on November 30th and will end with a company Christmas party on December 22nd.
There are events scheduled for almost every day during these three weeks. The first one was Deck the Halls. The representatives from each department were given a set of instructions which were to be explained to the rest of the team and everything took off from there.
Deck the Halls was the office decorating competition and the first of many for an exciting Christmas at the company. Every department was given a small budget where we bought supplies and used these to decorate our respective office spaces. Teams were also allowed to put up decorations that we made from materials we may have already had which weren’t included in the budget given to us.
It’s important to note that almost everyone gave up their weekend to come into the office and decorate every inch of their respective work areas to the general theme of everything Christmassy for the festive season. All of us were encouraged to make our own Christmas decorations and that’s how the each one’s creativity came to the fore. It was a treat for the judges on 4th December to walk through Winter Wonderland, Santa’s Workshop, Candy Land and even see elves at work. Santa Claus also made a very special appearance at Nordic Intent to encourage Christmas cheer at the company.
It’s only the beginning of the festive season and Nordic Intent has loads more to look forward to with games and surprises happening almost every day until 22nd December.
