NineStack held yet another of their Share-It sessions last week. This time the topic was centred around ReactJS.
This was NineStack’s 18th Share-It session where team-member Ankit Patel made a presentation titled: ReactJS & its Applications. This session was aimed at teaching the team about ReactJS, its application in front-end web application development and why ReactJS is the best UI library out there.
ReactJS is an open-source JavaScript library used to build user interfaces, especially for single page applications. It is used for handling the view layer of web and mobile applications. It also lets you create reusable UI components.
React was first created by Jordan Walke, a software engineer who worked for Facebook. It allows developers to create large web applications which can change data without reloading the page. The main purpose of React is to be fast, scalable, and simple. It can be used with a combination of other JavaScript libraries or frameworks, such as AngularJS in MVC.
The NineStack share-it sessions are often comprised of activities that aid in advancing professional development. They are aimed at engaging employees and aligning them with the vision, values and mission statement of the company. They are also a great example of how shared learning impacts team building. Such knowledge sharing sessions cultivate team relationships and help the company stay ahead of the curve.
