The use of Radio Frequency Identification or RFID technology in India is relatively new but experts in the field say that its implementation has great potential in the Indian software industry. One Goa-based company that shares this view is Ticlet which is one of the ticketing partners for TEDx Panaji 2019.
Ticlet talks about RFID technology in India and more
One of Nordic Intent’s newest projects. Ticlet has two primary products – (1) RFID solutions for events and (2) the app (which is to be launched soon).
These RFID wristbands add a sense of security & convenience to music festivals. The embedded chip allows easy access control, social media integration and cashless transactions and provide an excellent opportunity for the event organizers and sponsors to collate user data.
RFID technology in India is being used in the IT sector at many companies across the country. But it has never been used in the events circuit. Taking advantage of this, Ticlet is the first startup to use RFID technology in India for events, ensuring that every user has an effortless
experience thanks to the numerous benefits offered by the same.
The Ticlet app is a nightlife discovery platform, which allows party-goers to get information and updates about all the happening events in their respective cities. Starting with Goa, they have plans to set up the Ticlet app across the country in the near future.
